I approach costumes like the nymphs approached Aphrodite upon her rise from the sea – I dress others as an act of service, in devotion to the stories we tell with our bodies. How we dress is an exploration of where we come from, who we are, and what we aspire to be. With costumes, the human form becomes mutable; malleable, so that our bodies may evolve alongside our spirits in a way that shouts “See me for who I am!” before we find the words. Costumes are a form of magic. Through them, we become shapeshifters in form and transfigurers of self. With great passion, I strive to be one of these body magicians.

"It makes a huge difference in how you feel, the way your costume holds you.
When you look at yourself in the mirror, it makes you feel a certain way.
Actors like to talk a lot about working from the inside out, but there's a lot
to be said also about working from the outside in."
